Another grizzled radio veteran, Tom took up the space between commercials at a number of 50,000 watt radio powerhouses like KSFM Sacramento and KSJO San Jose where his ratings claimed a 30% share of the market (that’s an absurdly high figure by any anyone’s account). He went on to be a motorcysle stunt pilot for Joey Chitwoods Flying Circus and authored the fictional version of his radio career in the book “I Never Wanted to Be a Morning Man”. Our resident Blues Expert Tom now spends his time playing blues harmonica and re-loading ammunition ... but not at the same time.
